In the Sunshine

Hello fellow bloggers,

Hope everyone has enjoyed the month of August!!

James did excellent in his GCSE results and gained more than what he needed to go into 6th Form.  He has a half day later on at school then starts full time on Monday.

Ryan, Conor and Mark are back to school on Monday.  I don't think they are impressed the summer holidays are over but looking forward to school starting. Fun had by all but now its heads down and hard work all the way!!

I have enrolled with the Open University to carry on with my Degree.  I am so looking forward to getting back to my studies in October.

But ... the last few days has seen sunshine so I took my stitching outside and stitched away whilst the children played out.  I only got a little bit done as I was up and down like a yo-yo but we all have a brilliant time in the garden.

Glittery Hearts BiscoBud.
Just a little done but
I am delighted

Not much done here except playing out and getting all the school supplies for the start of a new school year. next week I declare a full stitching week whilst the boys are in school :-)

Well I think it is bedtime as it is back to alarm setting and school runs tomorrow.  I have missed it because I love my routine!!

Bye for now

Keep well and safe

Love me xxxx

The antics from my house

Hello bloggers,

Well yet again no stitching done but we have had a busy time painting and rearranging the house!  Only 2 more weeks and the kiddies will be back to school so plenty of time to stitch.

Here are a few (well lots) of photos showing what we have been upto!

Ryan (9) on the tree Swing
Laura (22) and Cara (2) having a wee swing!

Katie (4), Cara (2), Mark (6), Conor (7)
and James' legs (16) playing
Giant Snakes and ladders
that my mum posted over to us!!

Cara holding a red plastic egg and spoon and a bean bag!
Think she likes red things?  We were having a mini sports day.

Mark coming to join in the sporting activities

Katie and Cara with the beanbags

Katie playing football with big brother James!
James hates photos being taken
which is why he always is 'invisible'

Cara playing pool

ooooo fishies!! Look at the delight on Cara's face :-)

Hello all,

I just popped on to say Hello and I haven't forgotten you all.  The photo says it all .... :-)

I haven't had much time for anything the last few weeks because my little one hasn't been too well the last few weeks but she seems to have made a recovery, just need to get her to eat a little bit more and I'll be happy!

I have managed to finish a baby sampler for my daughters nursery teacher.  She went on maternity leave before the end of the school term so thought I would wait until I know what she had had rather than rush something.  She had a little girl :-)

Will post you a photo of the sampler.  I still need to add the name etc on the sampler.

I hope to make a really good progress on my Fairy Grandmother over the weekend ... that's the plan anyway, wonder if it will go that way, lets hope so!

I nearly have all the kiddies sorted with school uniform etc for the new school year in September!  All going to plan so far.

Happy crafting and see you all soon

Love Heather
